Perfect conditions on the Rigi, Queen of the mountains, with sun, snow and blue sky. The Rigi Railways have 6 of these partially low-floor articulated cogwheel railcars, supplied by StadlerRail, Bhe 4/6 # 41 to # 46. So far, they only operate on the route between Vitznau and Rigi Kulm, but not on the Arth Goldau side, which is due to technical/operational reasons. On this day, multiple units # 41 to # 44 were each running in pairs with the scheduled trains, and # 45 and # 46 were each running solo as relief trains. Here, Bhe 4/6 # 46 “Rosa Dahinden-Pfyhl” arrives at Rigi Staffel from Rigi Kulm, en route to Vitznau. The upward-sweeping ends of the car bodies have no functional reason, but are purely a designer fart.
