| The CSX Seneca local heading across the Illinois River on former Kankakee & Seneca Railroad trackage as they bring 20 cars across for storage. The K&S operated 42 miles of trackage from Kankakee to Seneca from 1882-1933. They ran revenue freight and even passenger service back in the day on the ole shortline. |
