Picturesque Park Ridge. New Jersey Transit's Conrail Heritage Unit, GP40PH-2B NJTR 4208 (ex-CR 3191, née-Penn Central 3191, EMD, GP40, 10/1968) was the power for Train 2124 on the Pascack Valley Line on the night of Sunday, January 19, 2025 in the snow. The train is seen passing the vintage Park Ridge, New Jersey Station, on of many former Erie Railroad depots that are still in use on the once New Jersey & New York Railroad.
Photos from across RP of NJ Transit’s 40th Anniversary specially painted & wrapped units.
Also included are the fully wrapped Veterans & Pride tribute units.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
