On the evening of January 13th, 2025, New Jersey Transit's NJ Department of Transportation Heritage GP40PH-2 #4101 leads Pascack Valley Line train 1625 into the historic station at Oradell, New Jersey. Oradell Station was opened in March of 1870 with the opening of the Hackensack and New York Extension Railroad which extended the original line from Anderson Street to Hillsdale. The depot now houses "America The Beautiful Flags & Flagpoles", Bergen County's first full service flag & flagpole company.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
