Iron Monster. SFMTA/Market Street Railway "San Francisco Municipal Railway" 130 (Jewett, 1914) was passing by King Street & 3 Street near AT&T Park in San Francisco, California on the afternoon of September 26, 2015 after a day of operation during that year's Heritage Festival. The 125 cars in this order were nicknamed "Iron Monsters", and operated in regular service until 1958. Due to the diligence of certain employees, the car was retained in work service and restored to the blue and gold “Treasure Island" paint scheme for the first Trolley Festival in 1983. In this picture, the F Line sign was still up, but the "Take Next Car" sign in the window reflects that the car was out of service for the day and traveling to the MUNI Metro East Facility. To date this is the last Heritage Festival to include 130, as shortly afterwards the car was removed from service and is presently awaiting repairs.
