East Chattanooga Belt Railway (ECBT) train EC01 holds the former Central of Georgia mainline while NS local AC01 heads into the Georgia Pacific Runaround for a headlight meet to exchange cars.
Of course, like many things in railroading, Georgia Pacific has been gone for years and so has the Central of Georgia, but these are names you'll still hear daily in Chattanooga to identify these points on the railroad.
ECBT is a common carrier subsidiary of the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, serving freight customers in East Chattanooga. EC01 typically operates once a week as needed for customer moves using various locomotives from the TVRM diesel collection. NS was nice to coincidently provide a special unit of their own for this meet.
