Well...so here's what happened...the previous day, L738 (with 4720 in the power) ran out of time leaving Waycross, largely in part due to M542 getting a bad hot box in Jamestown, taking up half the morning & backing traffic up both ways. Overnight, L742 brought their train into Fitzgerald. This day, L739 drove down to Fitzgerald and picked up what L738 had, including the power. They ran to Cordele and worked their own cuts plus that of L740, which was stranded in Oglethorpe behind a train with a locomotive fire. They took 4720 and their cars back before their own time ran out. Here, they are about to cross the diamond, third of three northbounds that will snuggle up in Ross on the main while a train in need of refuel got attention at the north end of the siding.
