After waiting for a northbound, M601 continues south, and is now only a few feet away from entering the steel bridge (built 1914) allowing countless trains to cross the Chattahoochee River in West Point. Years of wear from weather and trains, has added character to the structure with a combination of rust, paint, and dirt.
