| Racing East.
A pair of Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) trains are seen approaching Woodside Station, beneath the massive 6-track signal bridge west of the station. At left is M7 car 7762 leading Long Beach Branch train 6850, and at right is M9 car 9148 leading Port Washington Branch train 6450. The Long Beach-bound train will ultimately emerge victorious, as it does not stop at this station and is actually overtaking the Port Washington-bound train as the photo was taken! |
