Remarks & Notes
An Amtrak Dash 8-32BWH makes a rare appearance on Train 50, the eastbound Cardinal. The Siemens Charger (trailing) had airbrake issues on the prior westbound run (2-5-25) and was terminated in Cincy and later towed by a CSX SD70MAC to Beach Grove in Indy. The trainset was turned there and 519 placed on the lead for the eastbound trip this date. Here, 519 glides to a smooth stop at White Sulphur Springs, home of the Greenbrier. A full railfanning trip report can be found on my website: https://coryclaxon.com

Powerful members of Congress once helped this scenic state get levels of service not seen elsewhere. Now the Capitol Limited and Cardinal are all that remain.
