It's morning at the Wildcat coal loader near Martin, Utah. This 4 pack of unique MPI 5000C locomotives has just pulled under the loadout and is waiting for the loader operator, Jennifer, to begin the loading operation. I have been invited into the control room several times, and have even climbed up inside the structure to the very top roof for a magnificent view of the eastern Utah landscape. Sadly, I understand that the loader is now inactive. The Utah Ry. has shipped these locos off to Salt Lake City and Kansas and their Martin Roundhouse is empty and silent.
