Minneapolis & St. Louis also known has the "Peoria Gateway" has already become part of the Chicago & North Western, and in March 1962 the photographer was lucky to get a matched set of "reds" plowing a little snow rolling through Oskaloosa, Iowa, with three EMD Fs bracketing a GP9.
