As Union Pacific train UP MWCNP-16 (a West Colton CA to North Platte NE manifest) climbs Cajon Pass on BNSF Cajon Sub's Main 1, BNSF High Priority Freight H-BARSDG3-16A, running a mere 15½ hours behind schedule, has just circumnavigated Sullivan's Curver as it rolls into Cajon on its way from Barstow to San Diego. (With Barstow being just 62 miles away, how is this train already over 15 hours late? It's today's railroading ... don't ask such questions!) BNSF ES44DC 7225, plus ES44C4s 8049 and 8078, are powering this freight. Two trains with no intermodal on Cajon? What a nice break from the usual... (Cajon Pass, California - February 16, 2025)
