Remarks & Notes
Delaware Lackawanna PO74 passes the frozen Roaring Brook Reservoir as it heads southeast out of Scranton. Today's consist includes C636 #3642, C630M #3000, and M630 #3007. The lead unit is the last surviving Alco of its kind. One of 34 built in the US, it served Penn Central, Conrail, and the Delta Bulk Terminal in California before its purchase by the Delaware Lackawanna. It wore its Conrail blue paint until 2006, when it received the DL's corporate scheme seen in this photo.
