Metro-North's 40th Anniversary "Penn Central" heritage-wrapped P32AC-DM, MNCW 217, leads train 943 past the old Katonah, New York, station house on February 13th, 2025. Built by the New York Central Railroad in 1910, this was the second station serving Katonah, replacing the original 1897 structure (now a residence down the street). It was closed to passengers in 1984 when Metro-North opened a new high-level platform across the street. Today, the historic building houses a few local businesses.
