New Haven Out Of Gotham. MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 855 was led by the railroad's newest heritage unit, P32AC-DM MNCW 222 (New Haven) on the evening of Friday, March 7, 2025. This unit commemorates an early New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad locomotive paint scheme with its distinctive script logo. This is the sixth Metro-North Railroad wrap, and it joins the four Connecticut DOT New Haven (McGinnis/Matter) tribute units. In the background, the Manhattan skyline is a few miles away, and sets the scene near High Bridge in the Bronx, New York.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
