| . The Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District was created to capitalize on the city's history with the cattle industry and hosts a series of preserved buildings, with some dating back to 1866. The district includes a newer shopping center that hosts a Grapevine Vintage Railroad station. This railroad provides excursion service in the DFW area using vintage locomotives, such as ex-Santa Fe GP7u #2199, seen here on the point of the Trinity River Train. |
