Ge 4/4 II # 620 and # 633 of the Rhaetian Railway in multiple control are running through Spinas with the freight train 5135 from Landquart freight yard to Samedan. The beautifully renovated station building was raised by half a meter and shifted over a meter to the left when the station was converted in connection with the new Albula tunnel and the disabled-friendly extension. The trains that stop here, every two hours in each direction (stop on request), run on the new platform track 1, the through trains use track 2 without a platform. In the background, you can see the portal of the old Albula tunnel, out of use, beeing rebuilt into a rescue tunnel.
