On March 21, 2025, the locomotive Ge 4/4 II # 626 of the Rhaetian Railway, which has been wearing the Pullman colors cobalt blue and ivory since September 2024, was christened “Alby Glatt” in the Samedan depot. Alby Glatt (1933-2014) was the founder of the Nostalgie-Istanbul-Orient-Express (NIOE) in 1976. In 1996, together with Willy Hochstrasser, former head of marketing at the Rhaetian Railway, he founded the Pro Salonwagen RhB association and initiated the preservation, operation and renovation of the 1931 coaches, which now operate under the Alpine Classic Pullman Express brand. The decorated locomotive is ready for the unveiling of Alby Glatt's signature.
