Of all the units in the CSXT "heritage"paint, this is possibly the most unusual in that the Pan Am paint still exists....and exists on the CSXT roster...with operational units. Now, if I had my wish, it would be to team this one up with a C40, an SD40 and then both F-Units. You laugh...but...we are reminded daily to expect the unexpected. Anyway, the 1981 is today having to set up in DPU mode with a third unit and get a different EOT equipped to handle over 10K feet because they are 12K feet. Yes, a local. 12K feet.
