| What looks like a short freight train on the Bernina line is actually an instruction train for engine drivers. Rhaetian Railway dual-power locomotive Gem 4/4 # 802 pulls a wagon loaded with tree trunks as train 9627 from Pontresina to Tirano and arrived Ospizio Bernina for a crossing. The two Gem 4/4 locomotives # 801 and # 802 of the Rhaetian Railway, built in 1966, are due to be withdrawn in some years, when new diesellocomotives ordered from StadlerRail will be in operation. |
