| Norfolk Southern GP59 4607 is on the point of a local train in Rock Hill, South Carolina back in 2003. It was built as EMDX GP59 9 in 1985 as a demonstrator unit. It was one of a few units with the unusual cab roof. It was then sold to Norfolk Southern Railway as their 4607. Since this photograph was made, NS has rebuilt it to GP59E 4650. I made the photograph on film. |
