Along the banks of the Tuckasegee River, just west of Dillsboro, North Carolina, is the "crash site" where an Illinois Southern train collided with an Illinois Department of Corrections prisoner transport bus, one of the more elaborate sequences of the Warner Brothers 1993 Harrison Ford movie The Fugitive. The train featured ex CSX (SCL) U18B 1901 and ex NS GP30 (NW) 536, both gutted of its major components and being pushed by Great Smoky Mountains Railroad power. After the one-shot crash filming was completed, the locomotives were left at the site for tourism purposes, and can be seen from aboard the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad trains that operate between Bryson City and Dillsboro (the Tuckasegee River Excursion). You can view a neat "making-of" youtube video of the wreck at the following site: https://youtu.be/raalmAFeloA?si=hUGJ9sxHCc4ItEQZ
