On March 16, 2025, NJ Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s (HBLR) Electric Traction (ET) Department team works their way down Essex Street in Jersey City, New Jersey, performing wire inspection on the Riverline Branch. This portion of the line is the only segment shared with automobiles, requiring a temporary street closure to thru traffic during maintenance. In this photo, an ET worker inspects the steady span from a hi-rail boom truck as a "wrong-railing" Kinki Sharyo LRV passes at the Essex Commons.
