Having just crossed the Steel Bridge over the Willamette River (slightly visible through the tree above the train), a southbound Metropolitan Area Express (TriMet) Yellow Line train (Expo Center to Portland State University [PSU] South) turns off NW Glisan Street onto NW Hoyt Street, near the city's Union Station. TriMet Light Rail Vehicle 527 is a Siemens S700, built in 2015. Note the marking on this LRV indicating that this is TriMet's 50th anniversary, having begun operations in 1969.
