Call Conrail. NJ Transit Conrail Heritage Unit GP40PH-2B NJTR 4208 (ex-CR 3191, née-Penn Central 3191, EMD, GP40, 10/1968) was the power for deadhead train X120 on April 8, 2025, seen crossing Lyndhurst Draw spanning the Passaic River in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The sign directly under the cab on the side of the bridge is quite old. So old in fact that it says "Conrail Lyndhurst Draw/Open/On Sig 0800-2400 5 hrs/Notice/TO 2400-0800/Phone Number 420-4078". Conrail stopped operating passenger trains here in 1983 and freight in 1999, so one assumes that it is from any time in that period starting in 1976, but more to the point, Lyndhurst Draw has had welded rail for many years and can no longer open.
