Remarks & Notes
The notes I found said this is the 1st time we seen these Dash 8s on Amtrak. Amtrak received 20 of these Dash 8s in 1991. . The Southwest Chief ran via the Santa Fe until 1998, when it was moved to the Mendota Sub with the BNSF merger and the Cameron Connection built. These cool old signals were neat too as they were shorter due to the Know Road bridge. This signal got move west by the bridge later on. I have shots of it across from the main #2 signal, both were of course replaced with PTC upgrades around 2017. Scanned negative from March 1992.
