| Locomotive Lineup.
The entirety of the Staten Island Railway's locomotive fleet was seen sitting at Clifton Yard on March 29, 2025, with Brookville BL20G locomotives 776 and 778 nearest to the camera. The four locomotives are similar to ones in commuter service for Metro-North, but the SIR units lack head-end power as they are only used to pull maintenance equipment or rescue disabled trains. |
