Remarks & Notes
New Tech and CPLs. Staten Island Railway R211S car 100 is the lead unit on an eastbound train seen splitting the signals at Brady Interlocking, just north of Old Town Station. The color position light signals are indicators of the heritage of the line as part of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. The R211s are the third generation of electric passenger cars on the island, following the ME-1 (1925-1973) and R44 (1973-present).
