Croxton Arrival. Norfolk Southern Train H81 was returning to Croxton Yard when it passed by the former NJ Transit Harmon Cover Station platform on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 22, 2025 with NS GP 38-2 5605 (née-NW 4112, GP38AC, 9/1971) pulling five box cars. While the freight business on the former NJ & NY/Erie Railroad Pascack Valley Line is a fraction of its past heights, there are still several customers that receive a variety of commodities. Generally this job can be found operating as necessary during weekday daylight hours, though which days is unpredictable. The Harmon Cover Towers frame the right of the scene, HX Draw Bridge is in the middle in the background, and the tracks that route NJ Transit trains through Secaucus Junction are on the left.
Photographs where trains and people mix, weather it's street running, plant switching or carrying a unit grain train out of an elevator, it will be put here.
