A GG1 with Amfleet cars and a HEP car glides past the abandoned platforms of the old station. That last car that looks like it could be a baggage car is actaully the HEP Generator Car and was used whenever steam-generator GG1s or E60CPs (the first five E60s) needed to pull the head-end-power Amfleets. The Iselin station was closed in June 11, 1972, following the November 14, 1971 opening of Metropark. |
