A quintet of NS EMD's heads up the daily cross towner (NS BF42) from NS Rockport Yard to NS Motor Yard. As a result of the division of the former Conrail, the most direct route is over the CSX Shortline, but if CSX's volume is too heavy for the day it is possible to make the trip over NS rail. The three GP38-3's are probably only along for the ride, to Motor Yard, while the two 6-axles are doing all the work.
