CSX train Q38009 derailed in Painsville at around noon on October 10, and is shown here a little more than 24 hours later still with a healthy fire. Many rescue workers are shown in the area and down the tracks you can see the huge mess along with the smoke cloud which I could see 11 miles before I got there. The bridge was closed to the public in fear of another explosion. About an hour after the photo was taken, the front end of the train left as E81011/Q38009. The power must be going to an empty coal train. CSX hopes to have a track opened by Saturday. |
