A conductor rides the end of a centerload flat with bundled lumber, pushed by CP locos 3018 and 4409 (in Soo paint) on a CP siding in Sparta, Wis. on this overcast afternoon. Eight centerloads with large wood beams is in tow and were left on the siding as the locos and bundeled lumber were taken to and spotted on a siding to Brittingham and Hixon Lumber Company, a major Sparta industry.
