On Saturday, April 26th, Utah Transit Authority celebrated the grand opening of it's first modern commuter rail line, the Ogden to Salt Lake City “FrontRunner”. In a ceremony at the Salt Lake Central terminal, UTA acknowledged all who played a part in the creation of this new 44 mile line. By 2013, UTA plans to extend the route 45 miles to Provo.
