Remarks & Notes |
67005 “Queen’s Messenger” and 67006 “Royal Sovereign” descend Eardington bank with the Royal Train’s return from Bridgnorth to London. This was the first visit of the Royal Train to the Severn Valley Railway, and the first time it had been steam-hauled on any preserved railway. It was also the first visit by HRH the Prince of Wales to the line, which was postponed from last year due to the devastating floods. |
