Remarks & Notes |
A Union Pacific Denver to Salt Lake manifest rolls west just outside of the Red Narrows in Spanish Fork Canyon. Stopped at CP RG677, Rio, a Skyline coal empty waits it's turn to head east up track #1 to Gilluly. Repairs to a CTC outage made necessary single tracking a section of the Provo Sub in Spanish Fork Canyon that afternoon. If you look closely slightly to the left of where the highway makes a bend, the head end of the coal empty can be seen as well as the double headed signal at control point Rio. |
