Remarks & Notes
I know what your thinking as you read this. You are thinking, "WOW! Two mint condition GP60Ms on a manifest! Rare for 2009!" Actually, this is an oversized local that is coming into Longmont, Colorado. The train consisted of atleast 65 cars, which most were empty, and the power was two EMD GP60Ms. The BNSF 143 was involved in a big derailment that happened on the same line about 39 miles south of here near Denver back in June. The derailment was caused by a tree stump being on the tracks and derailed half of the train. The 143 is now repaired and now has the right cab completely primered.
