It's froggy! Under a thick layer of fog, the Santa Cruz Local heads back to Watsonville with four B-B EMD's leading the way as they cross the trestle at La Selva Beach. Due to the poor economy we're in, the plant at Davenport has shut down, and the local doesn't run as often as it used to. The City of Santa Cruz currently has plans to buy the line from Union Pacific Railroad and make it into a recreational trail, for biking, hiking and jogging.
