Specially painted up nine years ago for the bicentennial of the City of Johnstown, the 2000, one of three NW2's on the C&BL roster (and the only active one), still toils along wearing only the second number of its over half century career. Here the elderly EMD rolls past a string of stored tank cars, towards a string of stored covered hoppers in the background. With the erosion of much of its former industrial customer base, the C&BL has gotten into the car storage business over the past decade, as evident in the photo.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
