Remarks & Notes
A rail grinder works its way past the west end of the scenic siding at Snowden, about 3 miles away from the North Dakota border. The grinder's crew would work only as far as the east switch before parking the equipment on the siding and waiting for the Yellowstone Valley Railroad to haul it down its tracks, which branch off from the BNSF's at this townsite.
