| Mitchell - Louisville local J781 eases through the semaphores at Hitchcock in a scene not likely to be repeated anytime soon. A week or so after this photo was taken, CSX abolished its two trains on this line, opting instead to route the traffic via the LIRC. Indiana Railroad's trackage rights trains soon ceased as well, leaving this stretch of the former Monon silent. |
