Remarks & Notes
An "Iron Monster," one of the last of San Francisco's famous Jewett Type B cars, grinds its way west on Market Street, passing the historic Southern Pacific Building to the right (formerly 65 Market Street and milepost zero on the eSPee, now One Market Plaza). The streetcar was delivered in 1914 and ran in regular service until retirement in the 1950s, it found its way to the Orange Empire Museum, only to return to San Francisco in 2003. It was restored to service in 2008.
