Three of SBB Historic's Olten based locomotives, from left Ae 3/6 II 10439, Re 4/4 I 10001 and Ae 6/6 11425. 11001 (then 401) was built in 1946 for pulling light, fast trains, called "Leichtschnellzüge", in pushpull service too. So the locomotives were fitted with front doors and a side aisle to allow passengers to circulate, when the engine was ranged between cars.
Beside of prototype Ae 6/6 11402 "URI", which is preserved in Erstfeld since 2007, SBB Historic decided to keep two other examples of this famous Gotthard locomotives out of the 25 "Kantonsloks" (locomotives wearing the blazons of the then 25 cantons of Switzerland) with chromium decoration. Ae 6/6 11425 in red is based in Olten since this year, the original blazons of "GENEVE" were stolen some years ago and so she is fitted with decals.
