About a week prior to this photo CP setoff this cut in an already snowy yard. (The CP snowblower/plow was broke down, and the spreader's ETA wasn't for another 2 days) After the setoff, it snowed to the level seen here. Inbetween the two storms there was a deep freeze of -40F which turns everything into cement. This is quite dangerous as cars climb the snow, and easily wrecks the gear casings on the locomotive. After shovelling paths for the locomotive, and the arrival of the local CP road manager from Schreiber, and a carman we begin going back and fourth, shovelling out, and freeing the dangerous car, and 7 empty boxes. I'll do it for a couple of bucks.
