| The first SD40 manufactured by EMD in 1964 as EMDX 434. Donated by CN to the Monticello Railway Museum this classic locomotive waits for delivery at the yard in nearby Decatur. The museum tells me it will take $100k to replace traction motors and repaint this unit during restoration. The number boards were stolen. Ex GMO 950. |
