| Squeaky Clean. After discharging its passengers at nearby North Station, 694's consist ran west to MBTA's Boston Engine Terminal to make a sorely-needed trip through the wash rack. Now nice and clean, the power waits at Swift for permission through Yard 14 and back into North Station to load passengers for another trip to Portland. The interlocking takes its name from the apartment buildings in the background; they were once a Swift & Company meatpacking plant. |
