Remarks & Notes
Deseret Railway's E60C #DPR-2 rolls downgrade through the colorful eastern Utah badlands approaching the Bonanza Power Plant. The second and third units are also E60C's but their origin is National of Mexico. After unloading at the plant, the train will return to the Deserado Mine in Colorado for another load of coal. The Deseret Ry. is an isolated road and connects with no other railroad. Visible on the skyline are the snow covered peaks of the Uinta Mountains about 60-80 miles away.
