The Central Illinois Railroad and engineer Kevin Vahey debuted a repainted locomotive, paired with a CB&Q inspired sister, as the two former Belt Railway of Chicago EMD SW9's switch Sims Metal Management Midwest, off Blue Island Avenue in Chicago on Monday morning, May 24, 2010. The switching and terminal railroad operates about 20 miles of trackage in Chicago, Illinois including the former CB&Q Lumber District in the Pilsen neighborhood of the city. STEVE SMEDLEY PHOTO
