Remarks & Notes
The residents of Sunset Beach have likely been enjoying another beautiful sunset on the Puget Sound. Their homes are located on the edge of the sound on the west side of the BNSF's double track mainline and accessible only by way of paths that cross the tracks. Aware of the sunset they may have been, but not of the full moon rise, nor the fast approaching coal train. Of course if they've lived there very long, the must have become accustomed to the frequent trains that rumble and blast their way past the humble abodes. Between BNSF, UP, Amtrak and occasional Tacoma Rail train, some 50 or 60 trains show up each day.
